While it's always nice to select a special day to tell everyone how very thankful we are for your loyal business, truth is we are thankful every day. We had hoped to have another party this year to celebrate all of you, but we will need to postpone until next year. We will just have to make next year bigger and better to make up for needing to skip this year!
Thank you - you are very appreciated! Every day!

Updated: All of us at Boswell’s want to say a big thank you to everyone who came and participated in our Customer Appreciation Day! What a great time! Wonderful people, delightful music by Mike Tronto, tasty bites by a Taste of Lokal, raffle prizes and three amazing recliner winners – Ariana Sanchez, Shylo Ferguson and Cindy Boyer! We also want to thank everyone that participated in our on-line Recliner Give Away Contest. We appreciate all the interest and support and look forward to doing it all again next year! One of our recliner winners has a very heartwarming story that we would like to share with you. Dear Boswell's, Thank you so much for the amazing Ashley Power Recliner! I can't begin to tell you what a blessing it is to have been chosen for such a gift. I spoke with a member of your staff and she encouraged me to email you with the story I had shared with her and the Cherry Creek Staff Member I had been speaking with. I came upon the invitation to the Boswell's Customer Appreciation Party and Recliner Giveaway on Facebook. I entered the preliminary qualification knowing that the party and staff would be spectacular, the sale would be AWESOME, and the raffle prizes would be fun as well. I was interested in coming to the sale primarily to look at twin mattress/frame sets, end tables, lamps, area rugs and anything else I could find. You see, I'm having to completely remake a room where another caregiver named Maria and I spend more than 150 hours each week. We live in the same house but while I'm taking care of her my time is spent in that room. My younger sister, Tamara, is about to turn 25 and was born was a genetic liver disease called Glycogen Storage Disease Type 1B. (My parents got her at 6 weeks old, found out she was sick at 9 months old. She was formally adopted at age 3.) She is unable to process any kind of natural or processed sugars. She must be fed a combination of cornstarch mixed with water every 3 hours around the clock, be connected to a feeding pump for 10 hours each night and have constant supervision. Without those items her blood sugar will get dangerously low and she will die. She has been in the middle of speaking and had her blood sugar get so low she has passed out, and she also slipped into a coma 2 separate times in the middle of conversations while at home. Connected to my sister's bedroom by a sliding glass door is what we call "The Care Room". This room has line sight supervision of Tamara, while still giving her space and privacy of her own. It also allows for all of the copious medical supplies she needs to be on hand for Maria, our Mom, or myself. It can be highly dangerous to have to even go as far as the kitchen from Tamara in an emergency so having everything so close is vital. For a short time it served as a guest space but is now in process of being converted back. It is in need of everything from a mattress set/ frame, dresser, end table, lamp, area rug, ect....which is what brought me in for Boswell's Party!! I felt so absolutely stunned, elated, overjoyed and incredibly blessed to have been chosen for the Ashley Power Recliner. It will be a welcome addition to "The Care Room" and give us as caregivers a spot to be as we supervise unobtrusively and take care of Tamara's many medical needs. We will take very good care of it. Again, I truly can not thank you enough for this wonderful gift. Sincerely, Shylo Ferguson & Tamara DeLosReyes |
